My simple idea today is all about not accepting something because someone declares it to be true. Something doesn't ring true? Ask questions.
People get away with so much because most people today are just spectators. They don't want to get involved. They would prefer to watch from on the sidelines.
More people need to be proactive and stand up and say "hey, what's going on here?" or "why is this happening?"
Before you can make a change you have to educate yourself. Asking questions and demanding truthful answers is the best way to do that.
If you are willfully ignorant you surrender control.

A song written a number of years ago had a statement that said, "there is none so blind as he who will not see, we cannot close our minds, we must let our thoughts be free."
There has to be a willingness to ask the questions, to be open to the opinions of others. We may not always agree but we must be willing to listen and learn. You from them and them from you.
